Oasis & C&C folks,

The car wash fundraiser for Student Life Mission Camp is just under 2 weeks away (Saturday, May 26th from 10am-2pm, setup begins at 9am), and I need your help. Here’s how:

1) I need help planning the event. Let me know ASAP if you’re able to help with this.

2) I need a setup crew and car washers! Please let me know ASAP if you’re able to help with this.

REMINDER:

Those who are:

1) Signed up for camp by the start of the car wash,

AND

2) Work the car wash,

Will have all monies received from the car wash equally divided among them and applied to their Student Life Mission Camp total cost. The last event we did like this (Parents’ Night Out at Valentine’s) resulted in lowering camp costs $53.75 per person, so the possibilities are significant.

So, if you’re undecided about camp, now would be a good time to become decided and earn some cash!

Hello Sylvania Friends!

This Sunday, March 25th, we are having the annual Indoor Church Picnic directly after the morning service in support of our Oasis youth going to Student Life Mission Camp this summer.

Here’s what we need:

1. People to help setup from 10am-Noon on Saturday (all Oasis and college students are requested).
2. Approx. 6 people to help serve on Sunday morning during the worship service.
3. People to help serve during the lunch itself.
4. People to help cleanup after lunch.
5. People to bring desserts.

If you are willing to bring dessert please EMAIL HANNAH ROOT with:

1. The type of dessert you will bring,
2. How many you think it will serve.

If are available to help serve, please EMAIL CHAD to let him know which of those times you are available to serve.

Oasis Students & Families,

The Indoor Church Picnic (ICP) will be held in the fellowship hall immediately following the 10:20am worship service on March 25, 2012.  As it does every year, the ICP will serve as a fundraiser for Student Life Mission Camp.  Whether you are able to attend Student Life Mission Camp this year or not, we could still very much use your help.  Here’s how:

A) Your Time & Strength!

I would like for everyone that can, to meet at the church around 10:00 am on Saturday, March 24th to help set up tables, arrange chairs, and go over assigned duties for the Sunday meal.  This shouldn’t take more than an hour or two, and it will help me get an idea of where I need to put you to serve on Sunday.  If you are unable to make it on Saturday, you can still help on Sunday, you just won’t know what we need you for until after you arrive on Sunday morning.

B) Your Hands!

We will need a lot of help serving.  If you are an Oasis student who is willing to help serve during the ICP, we can definitely use you to serve food, refill drinks, and “bus” tables, etc.  I’ll also need a group of you who are willing to help clean up, tear down tables and put away chairs after the event.  Please email Chad if you’re interested.

Thank you in advance for your help!  This ICP has always been a blessing, enabling us to offer Student Life Mission Camp to our students at a fraction of what it actually costs.
