WOMEN"S MINISTRY
Summer Book Club -  We are having some great discussion and learning as well! Feel free to join us on July 24 or 31 as we continue to take a look at the book, Reforming Marriage, by Douglas Wilson. Watch here each week for reading assignments: For July 24, please read and come ready to discuss Chapters 5, 6 and 7.

"Fast Forward" Bible study Day

August 17 - Promotion Sunday at 9:00 AM

Children, ages birth to 12th grade promote up to new classes this Sunday! Everyone is welcome to come at 8:45 AM for Donuts, Juice, and Coffee in the Fellowship Hall! Find out who the 2008 teachers are and where individual classrooms are.

"FALL PREVIEW"

August 24 at 5:00 PM

Come and see the ministries and activities available to you and your family this evening in the Fellowship Hall. You can visit with ministry leaders, check out Bible study materials, and sign you and your children up for various fall events. Also, learn more about where you can volunteer and plug in to ministry here at Sylvania. Sunday evening activities will begin on September 7 at 4:45 PM.

WEDNESDAY FELLOWSHIP MEALS  Sylvania's Wednesday Fellowship Meals are on a summer break and will resume August 20. Watch for upcoming Menus!

Ongoing Ministries and Activities

Ministry Opportunities. Sylvania, as with any growing church, has ample needs and opportunities for people who want to be actively involved in the ministries of the church. If needed, training is provided. To make yourself available, speak with Chris Brody or any of the staff.

Worship Team/Worship Band — "Praise Him with music..." Persons interested in ministering through the worship band (instrumentalists) or worship team (singers) are  invited to talk with Chris Gaston or Richard Huggins to get the particulars.
