Welcome to the Sylvania Church resources page!  Our hope for this page is to aid you in your quest to love the God-man, Jesus Christ.  That being said, there are a couple of important issues we’d like to address regarding the use of these resources:

1) While we do regard these resources as generally trustworthy, not all the views portrayed in the following resources reflect the views of Sylvania Church.  If you have questions about the official position of Sylvania Church, we’d love to talk with you!

2) As you use these (and any other) resources, we want to encourage you to be like the Bereans (Acts 17:11), who received teaching about Scripture and then carefully studied God’s Word for themselves to make sure what they were taught was consistent with what God had revealed in Scripture.  This discipline is crucial because the Word of God alone (not the words of men) is the final rule and authority over every matter to which it speaks.  In other words, what God says is what ultimately matters, and human teaching is only beneficial to the degree that it is in agreement with God’s revelation of Himself.
