Oasis Fall Retreat

Oasis Family & Friends,

Our fall retreat is drawing near, and I want to make sure you have all the details, so that you can make plans to join us. Here’s what you need to know:

What? Oasis Fall Retreat
Who? ALL Oasis Students (JH & HS)
When? October Friday, 22nd – Sunday, October 24th
Where? Ft. Worth, TX
How Much? $75 + food (4 meals)

NOTE: While I want you to pay what you can, please do let me know if you need help paying for the retreat, as I have received a few scholarship offers from families who are willing to help.

Register For An Event

Please fill out the simple registration form below. If the event for which you are registering is an off-campus event (i.e., conference, retreat, etc.), then please also fill out the Waiver & Medical Release form, which may be found under "News & Events" in the menu bar above. To help you with paperwork-type stuff, the Waiver & Medical Release form should only be filled out once per school year (i.e., August 1st - July 31st).

Operation Christmas Child

Kids On Mission church outreach/mission – Operation Christmas Child. It is truly a blessing for our church to have the opportunity to help less fortunate children through this special ministry. Operation Christmas Child brings joy and hope to children in desperate situations around the world through gift-filled show boxes and the good news of God’s love. Children from ages 2 – 14 will be receiving these special boxes. Kids On Mission will pack boxes, write letters, draw pictures, and prepare the boxes to be shipped.

Deadline – September 30th
Pick up empty shoe boxes in fellowship hall or just bring items and place them in drop-off containers.

Suggested Items:
Small toys – cars, balls dolls, stuffed animals, yo-yos, Slinky, harmonicas, hand held games w/batteries, jump ropes, etc.
School supplies – pens, pencils and sharpeners, crayons, markers, colored pencils, stamps and ink pad sets, small coloring books, small writing pads, calculators.
Hygiene items – toothbrush, toothpaste, bar soap, combs, brush, wash cloths, nail clippers.
Other items – hard candy, lollipops, gum, sunglasses, flashlight w/batteries, ball caps, socks, T-shirts, toy jewelry (necklaces & braclets), hair clips and bows, watches, small picture books, fun stickers – anything fun that will fit in a shoe box.

Items NOT to bring:
Ÿ Used items.
Ÿ War-related items (toy guns, toy soldiers, knives, etc.)
Ÿ Perishable items (chocolate, canned foods, crackers, etc.)
Ÿ Liquids (shampoo, lotion, bubbles, etc.)
Ÿ Medicines (vitamins, cough drops, ointment, etc.)
Ÿ Breakable items (mirrors, china dolls, etc.)
