Easter Choir

by | Apr 14, 2011 | Blog

How about a choir on Easter Morning?  Wouldn’t that be wonderful? Well, it’s going to happen, but it’ll happen BEST if YOU participate! This choir is open to visitors him as well. The Sylvania Worship Team members are our hosts and will anchor the performance.

We’re going to call it the Sylvania Resurrection Choir, and anyone who enjoys singing with a choir should join us for this occasion. You still will get to sit with your family. We will sing an exciting Call to Worship (”Everyone Arise”) and an equally exciting choir anthem called “When He Comes Again.”

To hear both of these, contact Richard Huggins. We also hope to make the music available online for self-rehearsal, supplementing actual rehearsal.

The first rehearsal is this coming Saturday, April 16, at 10 a.m. in the choir room. Since not everyone knows where that is, signs will direct you.  To answer your question, yes we can learn these pieces  in two rehearsals. If you can’t make one, come anyway to the one you can make. BUT, please do strive for both!

The second rehearsal is tentatively set for Saturday, April 23, at 10:00 a.m.

It is important that you register your interest so that we can communicate with you by e-mall in case of last minute changes or instructions. The form to do that on is at the above-mentioned website.
