Elder Selection

The elder nomination period ends on Monday, September 10, 2023.

To vote, you must be:

• A member of Sylvania Church
• In good standing (i.e., not under discipline)
• At least 18 years old

To be eligible, elder candidates must meet the qualifications found in:

• 1 Timothy 3:1-7
• Titus 1:5-9

Additionally, candidates must also:

• Be at least 30 years of age and
• Have been a member in good standing for at least 2 years
