With the exception of a mark dealing specifically with the ordinances (baptism & the Lord’s Supper), Mark Dever captures the nine marks of a healthy church. It’s not a heavy theological read, so you don’t need to be a brainiac to enjoy it. It’s a great read for pastors and church members, seasoned believers and new converts. In short, this is easily one of the 5 most important books I have read.
